Getting Started
Just downloaded Mystiks? Here's how to dive right in:
- Unlock Your Free Pets
- Start your journey by unlocking your two free pets: Ellie the Cat and Timber the Dog.
- Customize Your Pets (More details below)
- Give your pets personality by choosing emotes, backgrounds, and skins.
- Each pet includes a few free customization options, and more epic unlocks require Shards.
- Earn and Spend Shards
- Shards are the main virtual currency in Mystiks. You can use them to unlock pets, skins, emotes, backgrounds, and more.
- Earn Shards through daily quests, mini-games, achievements, pro subscriptions, purchasable shard packs, and more!
- Earn free shards daily by playing mini-games (rewards reset every 24 hours), daily quests, and achievements to keep unlocking more pets and customizations. More ways to earn free shards through fun activities coming soon! Optional Pack purchases are available.
- Our Pro Subscription instantly grants 2,000 Shards and an additional 2,000 monthly, plus other exclusive perks.
- Pin Your Favorite Pet
- Pin your favorite pet to the top of the home screen in-app for quick access once unlocked!
- Widget Time! Create Your Perfect Combo
- Found your favorite look? Set your customized pet as a widget and bring your 3D virtual friend everywhere with you on your phone's home screen.
- Share the Magic!
- Easily share your pet directly to Instagram Stories, save videos to your camera roll, or send them to your friends.
How to Customize Your Pet
Once you’ve unlocked a pet and you tap it — you will enter the customize & play screen, you’ll see a menu with options Skins, Emotes, Realms, Play. Tap the images beneath each section to preview different customization choices. If you see a Shard Icon and number next to a preview, it means this option hasn’t been unlocked yet — just tap it and use Shards to unlock it instantly. Realms are unlocked universally — once you unlock one, it’s available for all your pets!
Tip: Once you like your combo tapping the “X” (close) button in the top left automatically saves your combo and layout and displays it on your apps home screen! You can also Set t as a widget using the tip right button (Set Widget)
To change your pet or update your widget open the app select any pet and in the top right press “Set Widget” to update it!
How to Add a Widget to Your Home screen
- Tap and hold anywhere on your homescreen until it enters edit mode. (icons will wiggle)
- Then tap the “Edit” button in the top left corner, select “Add Widget”,
- Search for Mystiks, tap add widget and you're done!
